Wilshire United Methodist
Church June 1994 after an arson fire destroyed
210 windows. 15 original Charles Connick were totally
destroyed. 3 others
were badly damaged. After studying the original Connick drawings, which
are kept in the Fine Arts Dept. of the Boston Public Library,
the windows
on the left are the results. Many hours went into
studying Connick's designs
and painting techniques.
The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Old Town San Diego, Calif.
All of the 4 feet wide by 12 feet
high windows were removed. They were
taken to our studio and completely
rebuilt. Since the original glass was
manufactured by Kokomo Glass Co. in
Indiana we were able to replace
the broken pieces with the same kind
of glass.
At the same
time we repaired dry rot & termite damage & increased the
size of rabbet to a proper 3/8".
This job
completed May 1999.
Three
